LVP Floor Installation

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is the most-installed flooring in Toledo rentals and renovations right now — it looks like hardwood, costs less, handles moisture, and goes down fast. We install LVP throughout the Toledo area. Subfloor prep, underlayment, plank installation, trim and transitions — all in one visit for most rooms. Send photos of the existing floor and the room and we will quote materials + labor the same day.

questions about lvp floor installation

FAQs

Do I need to be home during install? +

Not after the initial measurement. We can do install while you are at work — just leave us access. We document everything in the portal so you can review the work without being there.

Can LVP go over my existing floor? +

Sometimes. Over vinyl: usually yes if the old vinyl is flat and well-adhered. Over tile: yes with self-leveling compound. Over carpet: no — carpet has to come up. We will tell you from a photo.

How long does install take? +

A 200 sqft room takes about 1 day including removal. A whole apartment (800-1200 sqft) takes 2-3 days.

Is the floor waterproof? +

Most modern LVP is waterproof. We use the WPC or SPC core types for kitchens and bathrooms. We will confirm the product type in the quote.

What about furniture? +

We can move furniture as part of the job for a small extra fee, or you can clear the room beforehand. Heavy items (pianos, large dressers) we handle if you flag them in advance.
